Screens and button labels vary between platforms and client versions. This guide refers to features such as “subscription,” “configuration,” and “import from link”; the labels may not match exactly. The user dashboard shows the current entry points and available clients. If your screen looks different, check the dashboard instructions rather than searching for a button with an exact matching name.
Create an account and save your login details
Select “Start Free” below to open the VPNiy account creation page in the user dashboard—not a download page. Follow the prompts to set a username and password. No email address is required. You'll use the username to sign in later. Choose a password you don't use on other sites and save it with a trusted password manager. Check your details before submitting so you don't mistake temporary input for your long-term login credentials.
When you're done, make sure you're signed in and can open Account Overview. If you're still on the login screen, sign in with the username and password you just saved—there's no need to create another account. Orders, subscriptions, and support tickets are all managed in the same account. Keep using this account when you switch computers or mobile devices instead of creating a separate one for each device.
“Start Free” takes you to the dashboard; plan prices and included benefits are shown there. After creating an account, check your plan and order. Signing in does not mean you already have an active subscription. If your username or password isn't accepted, check your keyboard input, leading or trailing spaces, and letter case. If you still can't sign in, see the account information in the FAQ.
Choose a plan and confirm your order
After signing in, open Plans and check the billing terms before comparing data allowances. VPNiy monthly subscriptions are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Monthly data resets each month on the date you activated your subscription, not at the start of the calendar month. Choose based on your typical web browsing, video streaming, or file transfers—not just the price.
For pay-as-you-go data, consider a data package: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, or ¥658/3000GB. Data packages never expire and remain available until used, unlike monthly subscriptions, which reset. Although both options show data in GB, their billing terms differ. Before ordering, check whether you've selected a monthly subscription or a data package. For a side-by-side comparison, see the full details on the Plans page, then return to the dashboard.
After choosing a plan, check its name, price, and data allowance in the order confirmation, then follow the dashboard prompts to pay. Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT are supported; payment steps depend on the method you choose. Return to the dashboard after paying to check your order status and confirm the plan appears in Account Overview. If the payment is complete but the order hasn't updated, refresh the order history before submitting the same order again.
VPNiy offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund. If you upgrade a monthly subscription mid-term, the price difference is converted into remaining days; check the details in the dashboard. This section covers the plan setup needed to get started. See the Refund Policy for refund details and the FAQ for billing questions. Once your plan shows as active in the dashboard, continue to get your subscription link.
Get your subscription and copy the full link
Open Account Overview in the user dashboard. Make sure you're signed in to the account you used for your order, and check that your plan is active. Find the subscription section and use the dashboard's Copy Subscription Link option. The link lets your client retrieve the route configuration for your account. It's not a website URL or a client download link.
After copying the link, paste it directly into your own client. Don't post it publicly in comments, shared documents, or screenshots. The link may contain account-specific information, and anyone who gets it could use the associated subscription. When contacting support, share the error message, platform, and steps you took—not the full link in a public conversation. If the dashboard offers a reset option, read the prompt before using it. Resetting the link may require you to update it on your existing devices.
Use the dashboard's copy button rather than selecting part of the text manually. After pasting the link into your client, check that it is complete, with no extra spaces or line breaks. If you transfer it to another device, use a method you trust. You don't need to edit link parameters or extract content for a particular protocol; the dashboard and client handle the configuration format.
If your client supports the dashboard's one-click import option, follow the prompts to open the appropriate app. When your browser asks to open a client, check the app name before proceeding. If the app doesn't open, copy and paste the link instead. If no subscription appears in the dashboard, first check your order and plan status. Don't keep trying to import an empty link into the client.
Add the client on your platform
Once you have your subscription link, go to Downloads in the dashboard and get the VPNiy client for your operating system. This client manages subscriptions and lets you choose routes; you don't need to enter server details manually in your system's network settings. Sign in to get the client for Windows, macOS, Android, or Linux. The available iOS link depends on your active plan and is provided in the dashboard. All download options are in the dashboard; this guide does not provide direct installer links.
After installing and opening the client, add your subscription, select the configuration, and connect. A successful import means the configuration updates and shows a list of routes—not just that the link appears in a text field. The sections below explain where to find the relevant features on each platform. If button labels differ, look for the option to add a remote subscription.
Windows: Add a subscription in the configuration manager
Get the Windows client from the dashboard, install it, and open the main window. Find the subscription or configuration manager, then choose Add, Import, or Add from Link and paste the subscription link you copied from Account Overview. If you need to enter a name, use something easy to recognize, such as “VPNiy daily.” This is a local label only and won't change your plan.
Save the configuration and update or refresh it. When the region and route list appears, set this configuration as the active one. Avoid running other proxy apps at the same time, as they may override each other's system proxy settings. If your system asks for permission to enable network features, verify the source and follow the client's instructions. For a more detailed desktop walkthrough, see Windows: From Installation to Connection. For now, finish importing the subscription; you can set up launch at startup later.
macOS: Import and select the configuration
Choose the macOS client in the dashboard, install it, and open it from your Applications list. In subscription or configuration management, choose Import from URL or Import from Link, paste your subscription link, then save and update it. If the client shows multiple configurations, make sure the VPNiy configuration is selected. Adding it to the list without enabling it usually won't change the route used for your connection.
Some features need system permission to manage your network connection. When a permission prompt appears, check the client name and follow the on-screen instructions to confirm in System Settings. Don't turn off system security settings just to troubleshoot an import. If the subscription has updated but websites still behave the same way, keep the current configuration and check the connection and mode below before investigating further.
Android: Add a subscription and allow the connection request
Sign in to the dashboard, get the Android client, then install and open it as prompted by your device. In the subscription, configuration, or profile section, look for an Add option and choose Import from Link rather than adding a server manually. Paste the full link and save it, then update the subscription. Once the route names appear, select this configuration and return to the main screen to connect.
The first time you connect, your device may show a VPN connection request. Confirm it was triggered by the client you just installed, then allow the connection. Background restrictions may prevent the client from staying active. First check that the connection works while the app is open, then review your system's background settings if needed. If the connection drops when you leave the app, see the relevant troubleshooting advice in the FAQ before reinstalling the client.
iOS: Open the available client link from the dashboard
First, confirm your plan is active in the user dashboard. Then open the iOS option under Downloads and follow the link and instructions provided there. The available iOS link depends on your active plan. If the dashboard doesn't show the option, check your plan status before looking for installation files from other sources.
Open the client and add a remote subscription in subscription or configuration management. Paste the link from Account Overview, then save and update it. The first time you connect, iOS may ask for permission to add a VPN configuration; follow the system prompt to allow it. Return to the client, select the imported configuration and route, then connect. For a step-by-step walkthrough, see the iPhone Subscription Setup Guide. The VPN indicator means the configuration is enabled; you still need to test access in the app you want to use.
Connect to a route and check that it works
Return to the client's main screen and make sure the active configuration comes from your updated VPNiy subscription. Open the route list and choose a region that suits the service you want to use. If you don't need a specific region, start with one that's convenient for testing. Connect and check that the client status changes. If the app asks you to enable the system proxy or choose a mode, follow its getting-started instructions; you don't need to change advanced rules for your first connection.
Open the website or app you want to use and refresh the page. Check whether text, images, and the sign-in page load normally. Pages or long-running connections opened before you connected may still be using their previous state. Close and reopen the page, then check again. Test the tasks you actually need to do—such as loading a web page, completing a request with an AI tool, or playing a video—instead of relying only on the connection icon in the client.
If a service says its content isn't available in your region, check that service's regional and account rules first, then confirm that the route's exit region meets its requirements. Switching routes doesn't guarantee that a platform will make particular content available; account conditions may also affect access. After changing regions, reopen the app before testing again. Avoid switching through many regions in quick succession, or it will be harder to tell whether the issue is due to the route, app cache, or account status.
If none of the pages you want to visit will open, first check that your regular internet connection works. Then confirm the subscription updated successfully, the configuration is enabled, and the connection is on. Check whether another proxy or VPN app is running at the same time. Change one setting at a time—for example, try another route in the same region and test it before switching regions. This keeps troubleshooting straightforward.
Once connected, note the platform, configuration name, and region you used. To use another device, add the subscription by following the same steps. VPNiy supports unlimited simultaneous devices, but you still need to install the client and enable the configuration on each one. If the route list changes, try updating the subscription. For persistent errors, save the error message and describe what happened and what you've tried in a support ticket.
You've completed the steps for getting started. If your connection isn't working, see the FAQ. For details on protocols and the differences between direct, relayed, and dedicated routes, read the Technical Reference. Keep a working configuration in place while you adjust other settings one at a time.
